Set the boot sequence to the DVD drive first followed by the hard drive where you want the new O/S loaded.Ĩ) Place the newly created OpenManage 7.4 DVD into the DVD drive and close it.ĩ) Insert the Microsoft Windows Server USB into the first USB slot.ġ0) Save the BOOT MENU settings and re-boot your machine.ġ1) Stand back and watch the magic begin. I used 'Free ISO Burner' available from Remember, the DVD being burned must be a bootable.ģ) Power up your server and at the boot splash screen, depress F2 to get into your SETTINGS.Ĥ) Assure the boot mode is set to BIOS and not UEFI.ĥ) Save your SETTINGS and re-boot the machine.Ħ) Now at the boot splash screen, depress F11 to get into your BOOT MENU settings.ħ) You should see boot mode to BIOS. I think version 7.4.1 should work also, but I haven't tried it. Do not use the latest version of OpenManage! It will not work and is a complete exercise in futility.
